The hotel is a mixed bag - while the rooms felt like what luxury hotels used to be like and the service was welcoming, there were some noise issues from a nighttime event at the park opposite and a miscommunication that cost us money. The location was superb, though, ideal for exploring downtown Charleston, but the dining left much to be desired.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered great views of the city, although the bathroom was a bit tiny.
